I think I have a loose adult tooth or teeth?

I%26#039;m 14 turning 15 now and I think I have all adult teeth. About a few days ago my tooth was feeling funny. My dentist appointment isn%26#039;t until this upcoming March. I%26#039;m also a girl, which means no boy will want me if I have teeth missing. Not cute at all. I also brush my teeth every night. Everytime I bite something my teeth hurts.

Are there any procedures to import the tooth back in the place it fell out? Have all my baby teeth come out? Does this happen to some teens? Is this part of puberty? Please tell me. I hopt I don%26#039;t have cavities. I don%26#039;t eat that much junk or anything.

It could be several things! If the tooth is not loose, it probably isn%26#039;t coming out. Try to wiggle it a little. If it doesn%26#039;t budge, you probably aren%26#039;t about to loose it. I can%26#039;t tell you if you%26#039;ve lost all your baby teeth or not. It may be a cavity if it hurts when you bite down. You could be biting too hard! This is not a part of puberty! Should the tooth fall out, there are several options to replace it, but I really don%26#039;t think this is what%26#039;s going on here. Set up a dentist appointment and see have him take a look at it. In the mean time, don%26#039;t eat on that side of your mouth!
Reply:where is the tooth? is it in the front, back, side, top or bottom. That has a lot to do with it...Teeth move and grow and that can have an overall effect on your teeth...Wiggle it to see if it moves...If its loose it will have to be extracted and you will get a partial or an implant...what is your family history? Ask your family if they have ever experienced the same thing - it may be genetic. Call your dental office and explain that you have an emergency and your appt is not until march and they can refer you to an associated dentist..
Reply:It could be a baby tooth. Some people retain baby teeth later than others and don%26#039;t always know it. Don%26#039;t worry, I have never seen anyone lose an adult tooth b/c it became loose unless it has a large hole/cavity. If it is hurting, call and see if they can get you in sooner to check the tooth.
